Sony presents its new model, the Sony DSC-T50 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 11/9/06. The DSC-T50 offers a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. It also supports a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1632 x 1224. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-T50 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, making a total of 7.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the DSC-T50 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-T50 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras .The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-T50 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-T50 has an internal storage space of 58 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD screen of the DSC-T50 is measuring 3.0 ". There is also a video out output available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
