Sony is back with its new model, the Sony DSC-N2 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 11/9/06. The DSC-N2 delivers a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 1280 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-N2 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 8.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the DSC-N2 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter. Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-N2 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .

The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-N2 includes an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo. The LCD screen available on the DSC-N2 is measuring 3.0 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
